Food at the Nursery

Our menu is carefully created weekly, by our chef George, and we do not have a rota system for the menus. This results in all the children who stay for lunch having the opportunity to try many different meals, regardless of if they eat with us on one day or five days each week. All dishes are made from fresh food on a daily basis and Chef George bakes most of our bread and all of our biscuits.

Supper: Cottage Pie, Greek Yoghurt with Honey

Tuesday
Snacks: Carrot Humous with vegetable sticks and apple
Lunch: Vegetable noodle soup and cauliflower cheese, Fruit Cake
Supper: Spaghetti Bolognese, Raspberry Jelly

Wednesday
Snacks: Bread and Butter, Banana
Lunch: Roast Leg of Lamb with roast potatoes and roasted vegetable, Fromage Frais
Supper: Vegetable and egg stir fry, Homemade vanilla ice-cream

Thursday
Snacks: Cucumber, Carrots, Pears and Homemade Biscuits
Lunch: Tuna Pasta Bake with mixed vegetables, Fresh Fruit Salad
Supper: Pork Casserole, Banana Milkshake

Friday
Snacks: Apples, Homemade Pea Humous and Tortilla Crisps
Lunch: Coq au Vin, Apple Pie
