In accordance with the requirements laid down by Wandsworth Borough Council this document is an explanation of how The Montessori School complies for inclusion in the local directory of providers of free nursery places.
Policies
All parents are given a copy of the school policies to keep at their home while their child is registered at the school.
How The Required Number of Weeks Are Provided
The school is open for 38 weeks of the year, divided in to three terms. There are 9 additional weeks of optional “Holiday School”, during which your child can attend for the same sessions as during the term, or for different sessions to suit you. The school is closed for 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week at Easter and for 2 weeks in August.
The free place is for up to three hours per session and is available for up to five sessions per week. At The Montessori School we charge for an additional package of services which includes: extended session duration, vocational lessons, snacks, social skills groups, one to one teaching sessions and social skills/academic break out groups tailored to individual needs . Additional services are listed separately on your contract and invoice.
If parents wish their child to attend a three hour session only without additional services, they should, in the first instance, contact the school office to check availability.
The school also offers the fifteen hours extended care, also with an additional package of services, for which we charge.
